Adam and Michelle Smith both retired from the United States Navy and moved to Northern Wisconsin to be closer to Michelle's family and provide their kids with a small town upbringing. They fell in love with the McCormick House and its place in the history of Hayward and jumped at the opportunity to live and work at their own bed and breakfast. While their son, Kevin, serves in the Army, Adam and Michelle, along with their daughter Addison, dog Rocky and cat Clifford, have embraced running a family business.
